We source our leather from a California leather supplier set up in the 1860s to service Gold Rush era leather processing. Northern California was once a major source of leather tanning and processing. When those industrial processes moved overseas in the 1980s, our supplier carried on the tradition by sourcing and importing leathers from around the world. Many of the leathers we use are sourced directly from the American food chain and set around the world for processing.
